Free After School Program for Pisgah View Students

Children First/Communities in Schools welcomes any child living in Pisgah View apartments to attend a free after school program.  The program is available to K-5 students who are at least 6 years old.  Your child will be dropped off from the school bus at our Learning Center.  Children receive a healthy snack, homework assistance, and participate in enrichment activities (drumming, HipHop dance, arts and crafts, science experiments, fun sports and games).  The program operates from 2:24 - 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday with an occasional Fun Friday where we go on field trips or have a party!

If your child qualifies and you're interested, please call Jette Redmond, Parent Coordinator, at 768-3015, or Barbara Norton, Project MARCH Coordinator, at 768-2073.  Applications are available at the Project MARCH Learning Center at Pisgah View apartments, 16-C Stewart Street, from 9:00am - 12:00pm, or at the Family Resource Center behind Emma Elementary School off N. Lousiana Avenue.
